This week along with learning in detail about Jupiter and Saturn; the Ladybugs did a fun science experiment. The children had a beginning question, made predictions, made observations and came to a conclusion. Yay for the scientific method! Here are a few pictures Vanessa took of the kids and I working on this project together. You will also find pictures from Mentor time last Thursday. The kids had to design and implement their own rocket using a straw, paper and tape. They did super well, and all rockets flew!

Too Much Fun!
Point Defiance Zoo and Swimming
The Ladybugs have had some big adventures. The zoo was such a huge hit. The kids seemed enthralled with the aquarium and the divers that put on a feeding show for us while we sat and observed. Thank you to all the parents who joined us, we couldn't have done it with out you.
Also, we started swimming on Monday. Again thank you to the parents who met us there and helped with getting kids changed. Swimming is so fun, it builds great courage in those less excited.
